Welcome Back Letter 2024-2025

Greetings Grimes Families,

Welcome back! I hope everyone is ready for an exciting 2024-2025 school year. Last year ended on a positive note with improved reading and math scores. The staff at Grimes want to continue our upward progress and encourage students to aim high. For students at Grimes, we encourage them to shoot for the stars and we only encourage students to be the best they can be. Failure is not an option.

Our success is accomplished through collaboration with families and the community. We encourage parental and community involvement. Only together can Grimes School reach its full potential. Parents are an important resource to any school community, and great schools have tremendous parental involvement. Let's work together to make Grimes School the best school in the Mount Vernon City School District. If we believe it, we can achieve it.
